150 cheapside is situated in the City of London, across the street from St. Paul's Cathedral, completed in 2008 with 9.500 m2 curtain walling. Architectural features are Portland stones, vertical stainless steel fins and horizontal shading panels with photovoltaic cells. The Cheapside elevation is a natural ventilated, double skin wall, of which the single glazed external skin is supported by steel rods. The technical design of the cladding panels was mainly driven by the large width of 9 meters.
